Veil tail Oscar
Veil tail Oscar are not the same, but are bred as well with a strange outcome. Called fan tail oscars, they have extra long fins and for a rough and tumble cichlid like the oscar, long fins can often lead to fin rot, fin damage, or just an akward looking fish. Fan tail oscars arent really true oscars at all because of this. I dont recommend them, but there really isnt anything wrong with them as there is with the dyed fish. If a bulky fish with pretty fins is your type then go ahead, but I would recommend to stick with the origonal strains myself.
