Arabian Blue Lined Dottyback
The Arabian Bluelined Dottyback is found in a variety of reef habitats. Within its range, any area with rock and rubble on a reef will support them. It is observed in recesses and small protected areas on reefs where it defends its territory aggressively. It is usually observed in pairs that occupy a territory.
Husbandry: The Arabian Bluelined Dottyback is very aggressive and can kill peaceful tankmates. It is observed that wrasses are not found in the same areas as Arabian Bluelined Dottybacks so they likely should not be housed together in captivity. These dottybacks must be provided with plenty of rock for hiding places in the home aquarium. They are aggressive to other species so should be kept with appropriately-size aggressive fish. Only one of this dottyback species should be kept per aquarium.
